The Team Scramble is a 4 Person Team Scramble with the four players having a combined team handicap of 1/8 of the cumulative handicaps. Example: The team has a 14,18,22,24 handicaps the team handicap is 9.75 The format will be each player tees off, the team pick the drive they wish to hit and whoever belongs to that ball does not play the next shot, only the three players who didn’t hit the drive play the next shot. (After the drive only three players hit) This continues until the green, once the ball is on the green, all four players may putt. Each player must use two (2) drives. The ball that is chosen can be marked and lifted, then the 3 players continue within one club length of that marker. However, a ball that is in the rough or semi rough must remain so. The ball chosen must remain in the same playing condition (Rough, Semi Rough, Bunker, Fore Green) and cannot be placed one club length into a better lie. The event will be played in groups of 8, with two teams playing together.
