Prestige Golfshire Club

Driving Range

The Academy of Golf at the Prestige Golfshire Club will consist of multiple undercover hitting bays and a Swing Analysis & Fitting Studio. The Club Fitting Studio will comprise of a Foresight GC Quad Launch Monitor and Golf Coach Swing Analysis system to assist golfers of every level.

The floodlit range will be open to Members and the general public six days per week Tuesday to Sunday.

Individual golf tuition, group tuition, corporate clinics and Junior golf programs will be on offer continuously. Our Golf Professionals and coaches have many years experience teaching golf to players of all levels.

There is a grass tee area that is 60m wide and can accommodate 25 players at a time when in use.

The range measures 340 yds from the middle of the grass tee area to the back boundary fence with six target greens complete with bunkers to sharpen your game. The short game area consists of two practice areas, one for putting and the other for bunker play, chipping and pitching. The range has an automated ball dispensing machine located at the end of the hitting bay area, tokens for the machine can be purchased from the Golf Shop or at the range itself.

Each hitting bay has a seating area storage table and club rack to store your golf bag and a power point for the players convenience when your phone may need charging. WiFi is also available.

Each Bay will have an InRange monitor installed by Mid November where players will be able to see how their shots are performing and also obtain all types of swing and ball data.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
  • All players must be a golf or range member or a registered day pass user
  • On request a day pass user must produce their day pass receipt and tag
  • Only range balls purchased from the ball machine can be used on the Driving Range
  • Do not pick range balls up from the range or grass tee area at any time
  • Golf balls from the range are not to be removed from the range area at any time
  • When the grass tee is closed no player is to hit from the grass tee
  • Do not hit or aim at the range cart when it is picking up balls
  • Misuse or abuse of the equipment supplied will result in you being asked to leave
  • Any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult
  • Players cannot use their personal practice balls on the chipping green
  • When using the practice bunkers please rake the bunker after you are finished
  • The maximum time permitted in one bay by a player is two hours
