The Prestige Golfshire Club is celebrating its 10th year of hosting the Prestige Masters Series amateur golf tournament.
Concepted by Mr Faiz Rezwan from the Prestige Group ten years ago, the tournament has grown into being India’s premier amateur golf event and is open to all amateur golfers.
The event hosts six qualifying legs between May and October with the top ten from each leg playing in the final in November.
A total of 840 golfers from across the globe take part in the event each year and this year being the tenth anniversary is particularly special as the overall winner of the event will win a trip to attend the US Masters Tournament in Augusta Georgia for two days sponsored by Golftripz and Prestige Golfshire Club. This is the most sought after ticket in sport after the Super Bowl and will be an experience for the Series winner to add to their life long bucket list.

Last Saturday the first qualifying leg was competed at the Prestige Golfshire Club with the Directors of the headline sponsor Table Space in attendance.
Other series sponsors who were in attendance included USG (Unites States Gloves) Akshaya Motors Mercedes Benz, Golftripz, HSBC Bank, Imax, Callaway Golf, JW Marriott Golfshire Resort and Spa, Ballantines and Budweiser.
116 golfers took part on Saturday and although the weather was in doubt the rain did not appear until after the event was completed.
The eventual winner was Veer Puri with 38 Points on a count back from Vaibhav Gupta also on 38 points and in third place was Sashi Kiran Shetty with 37 points. All three will advance to the series final along with the other top ten place getters.
The next qualifying leg will be held on Saturday 18th June 2024 and registrations are now open.
