Prestige Masters Series 2017 - Terms and Conditions (Rules)

Entries: Participants will register their entry by visiting Masters Registration and completing the registration form, and paying the entry fee. Entry/registration fees are non-refundable, non transferable and cannot postpone to another date. Prestige Golfshire Club reserves the right to reject any application that, in its sole discretion, is incomplete, not compliant with the terms and conditions of the Prestige Golfshire Club, or is otherwise ineligible. Openings for each event is limited and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis at the time of reservation. Prestige Golfshire Club is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or otherwise undeliverable E- mail, or entries that cannot be processed due to phone, network, electronic or computer hardware or software failure, or technical failures of any kind. Entries must be received before one week.

Event Cancellation & Inclement Weather Policy: Events can be rescheduled. Teams registered for events that are cancelled for any reason will be offered the opportunity to play another day. Entry fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Terms for Submission of Entry: Player registering to enter these events agrees to the Official Rules. All registrants agree to Prestige Golfshire terms and conditions.

Rules of Play The event shall be conducted in accordance with rules of R & A in conjunction with local rules of the Prestige Golfshire Club.

Handicap Rules: The following are the rules for the handicaps:
1. All members will have to declare their home club if they would like to take part in any tournaments.
2. All scorecards for each round must be submitted, even if the round is at another golf course. Failure to do so, will result in the member being penalized one round at gross par. If your home club is another club other than Prestige Golfshire Club, it is the player’s responsibility to submit the scorecard to their respective home club.
3. All players are requested to maintain a handicap only at one golf club. If a player has a handicap at two clubs, the rounds submitted should match at both clubs; In case if not, the lower handicap index must be considered. The player is responsible for declaring their lowest handicap index. The failure to do so will result in disqualified.

Interpretation of Conditions of Play The Tournament Committee comprising of Prestige Golfshire Club will be the sole authority to interpret the conditions for this competition and to give decisions on any query, which may arise out of them.  Any matter not covered under the conditions of play will be decided and its decision will be final & binding on all participants.  Prestige Golfshire Club also reserves the right to fix/alter starting times.

Draw Prestige Golfshire Club reserves the right to alter the draw and change the grouping to facilitate smooth conduct of the tournament. Under no circumstance may a player request a specific fellow competitor with whom to play.

Time of Reporting / Starting It is the responsibility of the individual Player to find out his/her starting time from the website or Golf shop. All players are required to report at respective Tees/Starter’s desk 20 min before their respective Tee-Off/Shot gun time. A scorecard is deemed official once the Player leaves the scoring area. Players are reminded of their responsibilities under Rule 6-6b which states:- “Signing and Returning Card: After completion of the round, the competitor should check their score for each hole and settle any doubtful points with Marker.  They shall ensure that the marker has signed the card, countersign the card themselves and return it as soon as possible. Score will be submitted with the fours ball.

Award Ceremony/Prizes/Ties Prize distribution ceremony will be held as soon the scoring will finish.  In the event of a tie or ties for the first place, there will be “Count Back” where – The best score for the last 9 holes shall be used; if there is still a tie the last 6 holes, or if still tied the last 3 holes. If a tie still persists then hole by hole back from the 18th.
